Requirements are divided into two parts.
Running the DriveScrubber DOS-based program to wipe a drive requires an IntelĀ« compatible PC and the bootable disk to start the application.
To install the DriveScrubber main application, create bootable disks, and wipe free space, your system needs the requirements listed below.
Windows Vista
Windows XP (Home Edition or Professional)
Note: iolo's products are not guaranteed to be compatible with 64-bit operating systems, such as Windows XP x64. It is recommended that DriveScrubber not be used in a 64-bit environment. 64-bit compatibility is being researched and may be included in future versions.
at least 10 MB available hard drive space
at least 128 MB RAM (256 MB or more is recommended)
at least a 400 MHz processor
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, with Service Pack 1 or later
A DriveScrubber bootable disk and either a CD drive or floppy drive to run it.
If you want to create a bootable disk, you must have a blank floppy disk or CD (recordable or rewritable).
